Bookings for CEMMS instruments are managed through the booking and billing software Infinity X. To make a booking for CEMMS instruments, you must have already:
- Registered with and completed a profile in Infinity X
- Been granted access by your supervisor/PI
- Been granted access to CEMMS in Infinity X
If you have not completed these steps, please register here.
To make a booking, for CEMMS-registered users:
Step 1: Login to Infinity X
Step 2: Find an instrument
– Go to ‘Search Resources’, left side menu, to see a list of all the instruments
– Use Search {top right) to find instruments:
‘CEMMS’ – to see all bookable CEMMS instruments
‘Gemini SEM’ – for the Zeiss Gemini 460 VP SEM
‘Crossbeam SEM’ – for the Zeiss Crossbeam 350 VP FIB-SEM
Step 3: Book an instrument
– Click the ‘Schedule’ button, right side of the instrument listing
– Follow the prompts to create a reservation
